October Students of the Month

Bruno Bighorn was honored to join and celebrate with our October students of the month. Way to go students, thanks for always following our Whale Behaviors ! 

Fun Family Festival

Our PFA with tonz of amazing volunteers put on a night filled with fun for all. Hundreds of Whitehead students and their friends and family members dressed in their costumes and had a great night. There was a costume contest, a silent auction and pizza dinner . The costumes were all so incredible . Thank you to everyone who helped put this great event on for our kids ! 

5th grade rocket builders... Blast off!

5th graders worked in collaborative teams to use math and science skills to create water rockets. Then they collected data on how far their water rocket would fly through the park and used the data check their scientific predictions. 

Whales Walk To School

Over 163 Whitehead Whales walked to school to celebrate National Walk To School Day. Students were reminded to use crosswalks, sidewalks and always walk with a budy. 

We gathered at the park and all walked together.

Walking with a buddy is safe and fun .

Adults and siblings of all ages joined us.

Waking to school with a friend is a fun way to start your day. 

Even better, form a group and include everyone.

Teachers greater our walkers at the flag pole and they signed students up for a raffle later that day.

Students chosen in the raffle won great little "walk safe" prizes.
