JWES Jog A Thon is here !

Mr. Squires reminded the students to dress appropriately for running and for being out in the sun. 

It's time to get out your running shoes. The annual Jog A Thon is almost here. Yesterday our students brought home their Jog pledge sheets. The money raised is due back by Thursday, May 29th and the actual Jog A Thon day is Friday, May 30th.

Mrs. Hiatt explained the envelope and the papers inside.

Mrs.Leary describes the prizes and the winner levels. Check out the annual Jog winners on the plaques in our main hallway.

 

Winners of the Spring Break Sum Dog Challenge

Mrs. Chatham, our computer teacher, challenged the students over Spring Break with a SumDog.com contest. The 10 students with the top SumDog.com scores were recognized at our assembly Friday and each received a gift card to a local yogurt place.

Way to go ! 

A new SumDog.com contest between all Washoe County School began today, so log on and check it out. 

Kindergarten students celebrate their moms

Both Kindergarten classes put on a play about the animals helping little bear choose a gift for his mommy. What a great day to thank our moms for all they do everyday .
