Whales on the golf course

This past Saturday, 36 golfers participated in a fun round of golf at Red Hawk Golf Course in support of our Whitehead PFA. Golfers from our school , from Granite Construction, from local police agencies and from local companies all came out for Tees for Teachers. The weather was beautiful, the company was great and even the raffle prizes were a hit . A hole in one kind of day . Thank you to our PFA for all the work that went it to this and for the snacks and drinks throughout the day. Put this on your 2015 calendar, and plan to join us for next year years, Tees for Teachers !

Student of the Month for September

Each month 2 students in each classroom are chosen based on our school wide Whale behaviors. Our PFA then puts on a pizza luncheon for these students.  Congratulations !

Parent Faculty Association (PFA) Fundraiser

Our PFA Fundraiser has begun and continues to Wednesday, October 1st at 3pm. All money raised will be used to support our students on areas such as a PE teacher and increasing classroom technology.

Back To School BBQ and Snow Cone night

Our PFA ( Parent Faculty Association) raffled off a brand new grill to any families that have joined our PFA for a $10 membership this year. One of our new to Whitehead families were the lucky winners of the grill. 

When your family jois the PFA, the money stays here right in our school, and allowsour PFA to support our studnets in somany ways: technology, PE teacher, classroom materials, art supplies, etc.
