Congratulations to the Whitehead students who ran this past October in the Run for Education at Scheel's. Our school was awarded one of the Kids in Motion grants for $1,143.00. This grant is given to the schools based on the number of student runners. Thanks to the Education Alliance of Washoe County for putting on the biggest running event in a Northern NV, and it's all for our kids.
Way to run Whales ! This grant money will go towards purchasing playground equipment for our physical education classes and for the recess playground.
