6th graders make beautiful music

The orchestra has come so far this year from each student learning how to play his/her string instrument all the way to playing the Star Wars theme together as an orchestra . 

The choir students learned how to improvise and put their own movement to music by working together in groups.

The band students played upbeat music together , and even got the crowd clapping along .

What inspiting musical talent and music teachers we have at Whitehead ! Great job music students !

Jog a Thon 2014 Kindergarten

May Students of the Month

2 students from each homeroom are chosen as Student of the Month for the month of May. 

6th graders win Toshiba Exploravision national recognition

3 Whitehead students in Mrs. Cameron's and Mr.Culbert's class earned Honorable Mention recognition for their engineering invention project that they submitted into the Toshiba Exploravision National competition. 

Governor Sandoval recognized all 15 of the sixth graders who entered the Toshiba competition and their awesome teachers. A big thank you to class volunteer and parent, Mrs. Jordan who worked closely with each team of students as they developed their projects.

Arrive at Park at assigned time.

After your class participates, please remove the yarn from the lap cards and turn them into the ladies at the table.  All lap cards must be turned in at this time.  Any lap cards that are not accounted for at this time will be forfeited.

Please take you class back to the classroom by departure time.
